1993 Commander Hawk XL 22.5

The 1993 Commander Hawk XL 22.5 is an open bow design built on the brand's award-winning hull shape, known for its handling characteristics and seaworthiness. A single Mercruiser engine powers the boat, recently replaced with a 350 hp unit that has only break-in hours. The new engine comes with fresh external components including alternator, starter, water pump, power steering pump, hoses, belts, and carburetor. The Alpha One Gen 2 outdrive is also newly installed with minimal run time, paired with a recently balanced and polished four-blade stainless steel propeller.

The open layout offers good visibility and straightforward control. Upholstery was replaced ten years ago during a refit that included wood reconstruction in the bow area. The gelcoat shows well for a 33-year-old boat. A high-performance stereo system with six speakers and a 12-inch subwoofer is installed. Recent service items include a replaced trim pump, gimbal bearing, and bellows replacements performed three years and ten years ago respectively.

The boat is trailered with a included trailer in serviceable condition. The trailer has had recent work: new hitch assembly with surge brake, new winch and strap, complete brake assembly overhaul, and LED lighting. The surge brakes function properly. Tires are Class D rated. A new boat cover is included.
