1993 Novatec 44

The Novatec 44 is a 47-foot sedan bridge motor yacht built on a fiberglass hull with a 14-foot beam, designed for comfortable coastal cruising and extended liveaboard use. Twin Caterpillar 3208TA diesel engines deliver 750 horsepower total, with a cruising speed of 10 to 11 knots and a maximum speed of 15 to 17 knots. The boat features walkaround side decks for safe line handling, an enclosed sundeck with wet bar and refrigeration, and a fully appointed flybridge with dual helm stations and seating.

The interior layout provides two staterooms and two heads. The aft master cabin features a queen berth with an ensuite head and shower, while the forward guest cabin offers a centerline queen berth. The main salon includes large windows, a convertible sofa, and lounge seating, with a dinette providing additional dining and storage space. The galley is equipped with a refrigerator, electric cooktop, microwave, and double stainless sink, supported by a pressurized water system and dockside hookup.

Engine and mechanical systems include twin Disc 507-1 reduction gears, new injector pumps and injectors, polished fuel tanks with dual Racor filtration, hydraulic steering, and an Isotemp 40-gallon water heater. A Northern Lights 8kW generator with sound shield provides electrical power. Navigation and electronics consist of a Furuno NavNet VX2 radar and GPS combo, Furuno secondary GPS, Raytheon autopilot, and Standard Horizon VHF radio. Deck equipment includes a Maxwell 1200 windlass with dual controls, chain and plow anchor, fiberglass hardtop, swim platform with shower, and a davit system for tender storage.

Recent upgrades include new refrigeration, injectors, fuel system components, and isinglass windows with shades. House batteries were replaced in 2023, and the two-head VacuFlush system is new as of 2025–2026. Fuel capacity is 300 gallons, water capacity 200 gallons, and holding tank capacity 35 gallons.
