1993 Ocean Yachts 42 Flybridge

This 42-foot Ocean Yachts flybridge sportfish has undergone extensive rebuilding and refinishing throughout. The boat was repowered in 2007 with a Yanmar 6LY3ETP diesel engine producing 480 horsepower, paired with new running gear, ZF transmissions with electronic shift control, and a Yanmar 10KW generator. The engine and generator each have approximately 900 and 1200 operating hours respectively, with all services current including 1000-hour maintenance. A new propeller was installed in 2017, and shaft seals were replaced in 2022. The boat cruises at 30 knots and features a fiberglass hull with an overall beam of 15 feet 4 inches.

The interior layout includes a salon with refinished teak and holly flooring completed in 2023, forward staterooms, and a cockpit with new teak flooring from 2020. Climate control comprises air conditioning units in the main salon replaced in 2015 and forward staterooms in 2021. New AGM batteries were installed in 2023. The flybridge level features new seateak flooring from 2021 and new cushions from 2019, with an entirely new teak combing board from 2020.

Exterior updates include a complete Seafoam Awl Grip paint job on the hull and hard top underside from 2018, followed by topside Awl Grip and new anti-skid forward in 2023. The eyebrow received black Awl Grip paint in 2022. The entire flybridge was removed for repainting and rewiring in 2018. New isinglass was installed in 2020, and a new adjustable cockpit cover with poles was added in 2022.

Equipment includes Raymarine electronics upgraded in 2019 with a custom dash, SAT TV with 5HD service, Rupp outriggers, a 42-inch television with electric lift, JL Audio sound system throughout with subwoofer, Lumitec underwater and interior lighting, and new sea strainers from 2021. Interior upholstery was refitted in 2015 with custom mattress. A custom air compressor and PSS shaft seals from 2022 round out the mechanical updates.
