1993 Sabre 38

The 1993 Sabre 38 is a 38-foot fiberglass sailing yacht with a beam of 12.33 feet, powered by a single 33-horsepower Westerbeke diesel engine. The boat features a modern rigging package installed in 2021, including standing rod rigging, running rigging and blocks, a Quantum T-radial mainsail, and a roller furler with LeisureFurl in-boom furling system. A MaxProp three-blade feathering propeller provides efficient propulsion.

Below deck, the yacht offers accommodations for seven berths across two private cabins. The aft cabin includes a double berth with countered seating, a wide settee, hanging locker, and shelf storage. The forward cabin features a V-berth, hanging closet, and vanity with sink and settee. The main salon combines a large dining area with a teak table that folds away and a port settee that converts to a double berth. Headroom throughout is 6 feet 4 inches. The galley is equipped with a four-burner CNG oven, double stainless steel sink, Sea Frost top-loading freezer with ice maker, and both fresh and saltwater pumps. There is one head aboard.

The sail plan includes a 135% NorthSail Genoa and a NorthSail Spinnaker. Deck hardware comprises multiple Lewmar self-tailing winches—two 54s, one electric 40, two 30s, and two 24s—along with a Harken mainsheet traveler and Forespar adjustable boom vang. A dodger and bimini provide weather protection. The boat carries comprehensive electronics including Garmin chartplotter and depthfinder, Autohelm autopilot and radar, and an Icom VHF radio. A fresh water pump and water heater were installed in 2023.
