1993 West Bay 52

The 1993 West Bay 52 is a fiberglass pilothouse motor yacht powered by twin MAN diesel engines producing 1,360 horsepower. She cruises at 18 knots with a maximum speed of 26 knots and carries a 17-foot beam. Only five examples of this model were built, making it a rare design. This particular yacht features a galley-down layout—unique among the 52 and 58 models—which encourages interaction with guests while cooking and provides direct access to the cockpit from the galley without sacrificing pilothouse space.

Below deck, the yacht accommodates three staterooms and two heads, both fitted with new electric toilets. The salon, galley, and pilothouse were completely transformed during a comprehensive six-month refit at the West Bay yard in 2021, during which all onboard systems were examined and updated. The well-appointed galley pairs with a large, fully equipped pilothouse for navigation and entertaining. The engine room offers walk-in access with full standing headroom.

On deck, extended safety handrails line the walk-around side decks, and the spacious flybridge includes a helm station and lounge seating. Active fin stabilizers with a new hydraulic pump and hoses ensure comfort in varied sea conditions. Additional systems include a bow thruster, two new diesel heaters, and a watermaker. A full engine service was completed in May 2026. The boat is shed-kept and has cruised to Alaska and Mexico under its own power.
