The Apache 41 is a high-performance offshore boat built on a hull designed by Bobby Saccenti in 1984, known for its rough-water handling characteristics. This example, named Tatonka, is powered by twin Sterling engines of 1100 horsepower each, equipped with superchargers and number 6 drives. The boat measures 41 feet in length with a 9-foot beam and is constructed of fiberglass.
The current owner purchased the boat in 2017 and undertook a comprehensive rebuild beginning that same year. The engines and transmissions were replaced with new Sterling powerplants, the drives were serviced and rebuilt by TNT, and the entire exterior received fresh paint along with a new stainless steel rub rail and LED navigation lights. Interior work included new Alcantara upholstery, updated electronics with Garmin GPS, and a full stereo system with JL speakers.
In 2019, the owner reinforced the hull structure by installing two bulkheads to address flexing in the bow. The drives were serviced again with new seals and gear sets. In May 2022, both engines were pulled, completely rebuilt by Sterling, and reinstalled. The engine compartment was then epoxy-painted, and the six fuel pumps were relocated to the bow bulkhead for improved accessibility. The boat has run 13 hours since that work and has been stored indoors in a heated facility. A full mooring cover and all removed interior panels are included with the sale.
