The Catalina 38 CC is a fiberglass center cockpit sailboat built in 1994, designed by Catalina's in-house team under Gerry Douglas. This model gained a strong reputation among cruising sailors for its combination of open deck space, generous staterooms, and substantial salon area. The design handles well under sail and power, offering performance typical of boats several feet larger.

The yacht accommodates two cabins and two heads across its 38-foot length and 12-foot-4-inch beam.
