1994 Custom 341

This 1994 Custom 341 is a fiberglass sailing yacht built with the tall sailor in mind. Based on Bruce Roberts' proven double-ender design—modeled after the famous Valiant favored by circumnavigators—the boat prioritizes safety, control, and comfort for extended ocean passages. The hull is hand-laid fiberglass, engineered for strength and durability. The boat sleeps six and features interior headroom of 6'4" or more throughout, with a spacious 7-by-7-foot V-berth. Twelve stainless steel portholes flood the cabin with natural light and ventilation.

The interior combines functionality with comfort. Cushions have been upgraded with high-quality foam and fabrics, and natural wood accents enhance the living spaces. The boat carries a main, staysail, 160 genoa, and four spinnakers for sailing in varied conditions. A Yanmar 3HM35F diesel engine produces 35 horsepower and operates at a cruising speed of 6 knots with a maximum speed of 7 knots. The engine has only 1,500 hours.

A major drivetrain overhaul completed in 2024 included a new transmission, damper plate, couplers, prop shaft, bronze packing gland, strut, and custom Campbell Sailor propeller. Additional upgrades include a Pelagic Autopilot with remote camera and tacking fob, Simrad chart plotter, diesel cabin heater with remote control, custom stainless steel bowsprit fitted with a Maxwell winch and dual anchors, stainless compression post reinforcing the mast-to-keel load path, three new AGM batteries with smart chargers, fold-down mast steps, and a second cockpit shower. The interior features a new teak chart table and updated flooring, ceiling, and upholstery.
