This 40-foot racing trimaran was custom-built and designed by Patrick Coloumbel, its first owner, specifically for the Route du Rhum—one of the world's most demanding offshore sailing events. The composite hull features a 35-foot beam, giving the multihull its characteristic stability and performance envelope. Over its years in competition, the boat has established a strong record across multiple regattas.
The trimaran accommodates one cabin and is powered by a single 15 hp Tohatsu gasoline engine. Recent improvements include new rigging, a fresh suit of sails, a refinished hull, a new carbon rudder, and new Dyneema trampolines. The centerboard has been extended to approximately 3 meters, enhancing its sailing characteristics for the racing environment it was designed for.
