1994 Daytona Custom Carolina Express

This 39-foot sportfisherman was custom-built in 1994 using cold-molded wood construction by Bob Sherbert of Daytona Boatworks. The boat is powered by twin Cummins QSC diesel engines, each rated at 500 HP, delivering efficient performance at a cruising speed of 25 knots with combined fuel consumption of approximately 30 gallons per hour.

The layout includes one cabin with one head, providing modest overnight accommodation for crew or guests. The express-style design prioritizes fishing capability with an open cockpit arrangement typical of sportfish vessels of this era.

Recent updates completed within the past year include service of the main engines (less than 100 hours of operation), new Hooker Pumps with sea chest and control system, new Release Marine Rocket Launcher for fishing tackle, new Starlink antenna for communication, a new aft deck shade, and ceramic coating applied to the topsides.
