1994 Hunter Passage

The Hunter Passage 42 is a center cockpit cruising sailboat built to handle extended voyages. This 1994 model features a fiberglass hull with a wing keel, a Yanmar 4JH2TE diesel engine, and a rig designed for short-handed operation. The boat carries 70 gallons of fuel and 150 gallons of water, and includes solar panels mounted on the arch to reduce reliance on shore power.

Two private staterooms and two heads provide comfortable accommodation. The forward cabin has a V-berth with an ensuite head and shower, while the aft owner's cabin features a queen berth and en-suite head with tub. The cabin sole is finished in warm teak and holly, with 6 feet 6 inches of headroom throughout. The salon offers an L-shaped settee with convertible dining, and the galley is fully equipped with a refrigerator, stove, and deep storage.

On deck, the protected center cockpit is outfitted with a dodger and bimini for weather protection. All lines run aft to the helm, and the boat has a roller furling jib with self-tailing winches. A walk-through transom leads to a swim platform and boarding ladder. The boat has been actively cruised in Pacific Northwest waters and is ready for its next passage.
