1994 Najad 370

This 1994 Najad 370 is a Swedish-built bluewater cruiser built for ocean passages and extended cruising. Hull No. 43 displaces 9.7 tonnes with a deep hull form designed for excellent seakeeping and easy handling in a range of conditions. The yacht features in-mast furling and all sail controls led aft for short-handed sailing.

The boat carries two cabins, a saloon, galley, navigation station, heads, and separate shower. The interior features classic Najad mahogany joinery with new upholstery fitted in 2016 and carpets from 2014. The teak deck was replaced in 2017–18 and remains in excellent condition. A Volvo Penta MD22L diesel engine of 57 hp has been fully overhauled, with service records available. Heating is provided by an Eberspächer diesel system installed in 2018, with a spare unit included.

Navigation electronics include dual Raymarine plotters, an i70 wind and multifunction instrument from 2018, autopilot from 2021, and VHF at both helm and nav station. The rig features a Reckmann mast and boom with hydraulic in-mast furling main and Furlex genoa. Sails include a genoa from 2018, jib from 2016, and an unused spinnaker. Winches are an Andersen package with two 52ST electric units. A bow thruster with helm, deck, and remote controls is fitted.

The electrical system comprises three 140Ah service batteries plus starter, all from 2022, with Victron smart charger and solar controller. Topsides have been re-gelcoated, the hull epoxy-treated, and rigging and chainplates are in excellent order. A 2.3m inflatable tender with 4hp Mercury outboard of low hours is included, along with extensive spares and safety gear.
