The Nordhavn 46 is a fiberglass trawler built for serious ocean passage-making, proven over decades of successful long-distance cruising and circumnavigations. Twin 170 hp Lugger diesel engines drive the hull at a 6.5-knot cruise and 8-knot maximum, with a fuel capacity of 2,600 liters supporting non-stop passages of 3,000 nautical miles. The design is known for capable seamanship and is manageable by a small crew.
The boat sleeps two in separate cabins and includes two heads. The upper deck features a rigid bimini canopy providing weather protection, with wraparound seating and integrated stowage beneath, plus a navigation repeating station and new barbecue. The stern has a new swim platform with railings and diving ladder.
In 2022, the owner undertook substantial interior improvements, including new soft furnishings, cushions, and window coverings throughout. New diesel diving equipment was installed at that time—a compressor and three tanks. The boat has benefited from continuous upgrades across multiple ownerships, with no expense spared in preparing it for extended cruising.
