The 1994 Riviera 36 Flybridge is a fiberglass convertible built on a design that proved enduring for good reason. Twin Cummins 6BTA5.9-M engines rated at 315 horsepower each power the boat, which measures 36 feet in length with a 13.4-foot beam. An 8-kilowatt Kohler generator and comprehensive electronics suite including Garmin chartplotter with radar, AIS transceiver, and dual VHF radios round out the mechanical systems. The boat received a full Cummins service in April 2026, with engine hours running near 2,100.
The layout centers on a spacious, light-filled salon wrapped in 360-degree windows. Two cabins provide accommodation: the master stateroom features a large island double berth with hanging lockers to port and starboard, while the second cabin has twin bunks and its own hanging storage. A full head with enclosed shower stall sits amidships. The galley is arranged in a U-shape and includes a two-burner electric cooktop, microwave, under-counter refrigerator-freezer, and large sink, with a four-seat dinette positioned just aft.
The flybridge is expansive, offering forward-facing seating and protected by a hardtop. Helm stations on both the bridge and lower saloon provide operational flexibility with excellent visibility and straightforward handling. Twin helm chairs, autopilot, and full engine instrumentation support confident operation in varying conditions. A walk-through transom door and swim platform with ladder provide easy water access.
Equipment throughout reflects thoughtful ownership and maintenance. The Muir Cougar windlass was rebuilt in 2017 and works from foot switches, backed by 200 feet of 5/16-inch high-test chain installed in 2018. LED navigation lights were upgraded in 2021. A tackle station with sink, rod holders, and rocket launchers serve fishing pursuits. Cockpit shower, fresh and salt water washdowns, trim tabs, and a full system of deck lighting support extended cruising. Battery capacity includes two engine start and four house batteries, with a Nautica charger and Xantrex monitoring panel.
