1994 Sea Ray 400 Express Cruiser

The 1994 Sea Ray 400 Express Cruiser is a 40-foot fiberglass express cruiser powered by twin Mercruiser engines producing 680 horsepower. The boat reaches a top speed of 25 knots and cruises at 18 knots. Its engine placement — set 18 inches further forward than comparable models — improves weight distribution and lowers planing RPM. The prop pockets contribute to fuel efficiency, consuming approximately 30 percent less fuel than other express cruisers of similar size.

The yacht's interior features two staterooms and one head. The forward cabin has a queen walkaround berth. The aft head includes a shower stall and Vacuflush toilet. The second stateroom to starboard opens into the main salon. The galley sits to port with an upright refrigerator and freezer nearby. The salon features a dinette to starboard with wood cabinetry and custom lighting throughout. A center-opening hatch connects the salon directly to the cockpit, facilitating entertaining and sightlines between spaces.

The cockpit includes double helm benches on either side, full U-shaped seating aft to starboard, a wet bar to port, and an ice maker. The boat is equipped with newer 1998 Mercruiser engines paired with Simrad integration, GPH flow scan, radar/plotter, and Simrad autopilot. Additional systems include a Westerbeke generator, 2500-watt inverter, air conditioning and heat, windlass, underwater lights, and full canvas. The interior woodwork remains in sound condition.
