This 1994 Sweden Yachts 70 is a fiberglass sailing yacht built to the rigorous standards of Swedish yacht engineering. The boat was repainted in October 2021 and underwent a comprehensive refit in summer and fall 2022 that included installation of a new Yanmar diesel engine. The design draws from classic yacht principles while incorporating modern systems and construction techniques, evident throughout the hull and systems architecture.

The interior features a large master stateroom, two guest cabins, and forward crew quarters, along with four heads. The finishes showcase Tasmanian black wood with exceptional joinery and detailing throughout. The layout is thoughtfully arranged around separate entertaining spaces, with a guest cockpit designed as a dedicated area for guests while service operations occur without disrupting the main cabin areas.

The sailing rig is straightforward to manage, with hydraulic Selden mainsail and staysail furling systems. Lewmar hydraulic winches and Ocean Series deck hardware support simple operation from the aft cockpit. The rig itself is powerful, paired with a wing keel and spade rudder for performance and control across all points of sail. The boat has benefited from continuous refits since 2015, including teak deck replacement during earlier updates in 2004 and 2008.

The 70-foot hull spans 17 feet in beam and carries a single 190 hp Yanmar diesel engine. This is a thoughtfully engineered sailing yacht built to exacting Swedish standards, with attention paid to both the technical systems and the quality of the interior spaces.
