1994 Tartan 3100

The 1994 Tartan 3100 is a 31-foot fiberglass cruising sailboat designed by Tim Jackett, built around balanced performance and solid construction. She pairs capable sailing characteristics with a comfortable interior and the build quality typical of Tartan's reputation. Power comes from an 18 hp Westerbeke engine paired with a Max-Prop propeller.

Recent mechanical work completed in 2024 included installation of a new cutlass bearing, replacement of the shift cable, and full service of the Max-Prop. These upgrades address core drivetrain components.

The boat carries a comprehensive suite of electronics: a Horizon Matrix GX2000 VHF radio, Autohelm ST4000 autopilot with Raymarine Sea Talk controller, Autohelm radar and GPS, and an E-Series chart plotter displaying depth, speed, and wind data. Air conditioning and Sea Frost BD refrigeration were installed in 2021. She has one head.

This is a straightforward cruising platform suited to coastal passage-making and weekend sailing, with modern systems supporting extended time away from the dock.
