1995 Bayliner 3988 Motoryacht

The 1995 Bayliner 3988 is a 39-foot fiberglass motoryacht built for extended cruising in the Pacific Northwest. Twin Hino diesel engines producing 500 total horsepower drive the boat, which achieves cruising speeds above 15 knots. The shallow-deadrise modified-V hull with prop pockets minimizes shaft angles, and trim tabs aid in handling. A dinghy davit and 11.5-foot AB aluminum RIB with 30-horsepower Mercury outboard are included.

The layout centers on a two-stateroom, two-head interior. Forward is an island berth; aft, a double berth in the second cabin extends beneath an elevated dinette in the salon. The light-filled main salon features a U-shaped galley, settee, and lower helm station offering excellent sightlines. A large flybridge sits forward with seating and visibility for full-crew operation. The cockpit is spacious and designed around fishing, accessed via an enlarged and raised swim platform with transom door entry to the salon.

Key systems and equipment include a Webasto diesel furnace for year-round comfort, a Heart Freedom 3000-watt inverter, and an electric/hydraulic dinghy davit.
