This 1995 Carolina Skiff 17 DLX is a fiberglass flats boat that has been stripped and rebuilt from the ground up. The work was completed in late 2025 with a focus on durability, simplicity, and fishing performance. The hull received a full inspection while open, with any issues addressed properly. The forward casting platform was reinforced with new marine plywood, fully glassed and sealed. Both the hull and interior were finished with Raptor bedliner for protection, traction, and easy maintenance.
Power comes from a 2017 Suzuki DF70 four-stroke with approximately 500 hours. The engine is paired with a new center console and Simrad GO9 GPS/fish finder that displays engine data, eliminating the need for separate gauges. Rigging was installed through two under-deck tubes for clean wiring and future serviceability. A 36-volt Motor Guide trolling motor with Spot-Lock capability is included for shallow-water operation.
The open layout centers on a large forward casting deck, ideal for inshore fishing and shallow-water work. A bronze thru-hull with seacock feeds a new 1100 GPH livewell pump controlled from the dash. A single-axle trailer is included. The shallow-draft hull design and recent rebuild mean the boat is ready for immediate use without further work required.
