This 1995 Catalina 400 is a 40-foot fiberglass sailing yacht designed for extended cruising. The boat features a two-cabin, two-head layout with a centerline queen berth in the aft master cabin, providing comfortable accommodations for cruising couples and small crews.
Power comes from a single 42-horsepower Westerbeke diesel engine. The 13.5-foot beam gives the yacht a solid, stable platform for coastal and bay sailing.
Recent upgrades have refreshed critical systems and safety equipment. New batteries were installed in 2024, along with fresh bottom paint. The sanitary system received new waste hose throughout. Rigging updates include replaced main halyard, jib halyard, and traveler lines, plus new lifelines of stainless wire. Anchor systems were upgraded with 200 feet of new chain and a new anchor. Lighting improvements include a new masthead light and foredeck light. The cabin top gained an electric winch, and heavy-duty davits were fitted. Multiple USB ports were added in the forward cabin, aft cabin, and cockpit. Stainless steel grab bars were installed at the bimini and cockpit, supplemental stern cleats were added port and starboard, and stainless mast steps were fitted on both sides. New Zarcor hatch doors complete the updates.
