This 1995 Catalina 42 MkII is a two-cabin sailing yacht built around a high-volume hull design that prioritizes both handling and seaworthiness. The hull features a fine entry, firm midship section, and smooth run aft, finishing in a modified reverse transom with a functional boarding platform. Power comes from a 50-horsepower Yammer diesel engine.

The boat is arranged as a two-cabin Pullman model with an owner's stateroom amidships and a forward cabin. The saloon benefits from varnished teak joinery and ash hull-side paneling, with good natural light and ventilation throughout. Two heads are aboard, including a forward head with stall shower.
