The 1995 Grady-White Sailfish 272 is a 27-foot fiberglass walkaround powered by twin Mercury engines. The boat features a deep-V hull design and reaches a cruising speed of approximately 23 knots with a maximum speed near 33 knots. The twin 2022 Mercury engines carry only 85 hours of use and include a Platinum warranty extending to February 2027.
The boat accommodates day trips and weekend cruising with one cabin and one head. The cabin layout includes a V-berth with convertible dinette to port, a small galley, and an enclosed head with toilet, sink, and stand-up shower to starboard. A small middle cabin serves primarily for storage. Exterior cushions and bolsters were installed in May 2026.
Onboard systems include a hard top with rocket launchers, 3/4 isinglass enclosure, electric anchor windlass with new motor as of 2025, and hydraulic steering upgraded in 2025. Navigation equipment comprises a Garmin 9-inch color touchscreen GPS and fish finder installed in 2024, a Ritchie compass added in 2025, and a VHF radio. Three marine batteries installed in 2022 support the electrical system, with an onboard charger for replenishment.
