1995 Hatteras 50 Convertible

This 1995 Hatteras 50 Convertible is a fiberglass-hulled offshore platform powered by twin Detroit Diesel 12V71 engines producing 870 horsepower each, with approximately 3,600 hours on the engines. The boat cruises at 24 knots and reaches a maximum speed of 31 knots. A Cummins Onan 20kW generator provides auxiliary power for extended time away from the dock.

The interior layout comprises three staterooms and two heads, each with full shower facilities, offering comfortable accommodations for cruising and overnight passages. The beam of 16 feet provides generous interior volume and stability across the 50-foot length.

Recent updates include a complete bottom job with new underwater lighting completed in 2025 and an interior remodel also finished in 2025. Navigation and helm instrumentation received a comprehensive upgrade in 2024 with new Simrad electronics including radar, autopilot, and three helm displays. New upholstery with diamond Bentley stitching was installed in 2024, and SeaDek non-skid flooring covers the bridge and cockpit areas.

The design has proven itself in offshore service, with the hull form delivering the solid ride and durability the model is known for. The boat is equipped for both fishing and cruising pursuits.
