1995 SeaSport 2400 Explorer

This 24-foot SeaSport express cruiser combines fishing capability with cruising comfort in a compact, trailerable package. The hull features a 22-degree deadrise for a stable ride across varying conditions, and the broad self-bailing cockpit measures 7 by 7 feet 10 inches—well-suited to both angling and cruising. A Volvo Penta 7.4 GL MPI 300-horsepower engine with fresh water cooling and new risers powers the boat through a Volvo Penta DUO PROP sterndrive, reaching a top speed of 30 knots and cruising at 18–20 knots with fuel consumption around 5 gallons per hour. Hydraulic steering operates from both the cabin and cockpit, and trim tabs help optimize the ride and balance.

The accommodation spaces include a V-berth forward with privacy curtain and ventilation hatch, plus storage beneath. A convertible booth dinette serves as additional sleeping space and dining area with storage below. The galley features a two-burner LPG cooktop with oven, a galley sink tucked beneath the hinged helm seat, and an AC/DC refrigerator. A fully enclosed head compartment holds a marine toilet and shower wand, with an opening window for ventilation. Cabin heat runs off the engine, and a 6-gallon hot water tank provides hot water.

Electronic navigation and communication equipment includes a Raytheon R10XX radar, Raytheon V-850 GPS plotter, West Marine VHF radio, and compass. A stainless radar arch frames the forward cabin. Dual battery banks with isolator switch supply 30-amp shore power connectivity. The boat carries a 9.9-horsepower Yamaha outboard with hydraulic lift bracket, two Penn downriggers, fish box and cleaner, and rod holders throughout. Amenities include non-skid weather decks, stainless bow and side rails, tinted windows, electric windshield wipers, and a 3/4-length fiberglass swim platform.
