1995 Tiara Yachts 4000 Express

This 1995 Tiara 4000 Express is a 40-foot fiberglass express cruiser powered by twin Cummins 8.3 6CTA diesel engines rated at 450 horsepower each, with approximately 1750 hours on the engines. The yacht is equipped with a hard top and full enclosures, an aft deck bimini with stainless steel frame, and a complete cockpit enclosure with canvas seat covers. A hydraulically actuated swim platform with lazarette storage provides easy water access and substantial storage capacity. The helm features a raised deck with extended bench seating and excellent sightlines, while a hydraulic cockpit table rises from the aft deck for entertaining and stows flush when not in use.

Below deck, the yacht offers two staterooms and two heads. The master stateroom forward features a queen island berth and a large head compartment with separate shower stall and private access. An aft cabin with double berth includes its own vacu-flush head with vanity sink. The salon features a large crescent-shaped lounge with a teak and stainless steel hi-lo table, and the galley is equipped with undercounter refrigerator and freezer, microwave, stainless steel sink, and ample storage. Warm teak interior cabinetry and genuine teak and holly flooring throughout contribute to the traditional cabin ambiance.

The electronics package includes a newer Garmin 7212 color chart plotter with HD radar and color sounder/fish finder, VHF radio with hailer, Robertson autopilot, remote search light, and a DC monitoring system for the onboard Xantrex charger and inverter. A single 50-amp shore power connection is fitted with Cable Master retriever, and a Westerbeke 7.5kW diesel generator provides independent power for all systems.

Recent maintenance includes new ablative bottom paint, rebuilt complete hydraulic system with new motor and four reversing valves, new inverter, serviced fuel polishing system, and new tinted plexiglass in the overhead foredeck hatches. The engines have extensive maintenance history including aftercooler and heat exchanger servicing. Trim tabs are fitted.
