This 1996 Bertram 60 Convertible is a deep-V sportfish built for rough-water performance and extended cruising. Twin MTU 12V-2000 diesel engines deliver 2,700 horsepower and a cruising speed of 24 knots, with a maximum speed of 30 knots. The hull design—featuring a pronounced bow flare, wide beam, and self-draining cockpit—cuts through variable sea conditions smoothly and handles heavy weather well. The boat has had only two owners since launch, with a long-standing maintenance policy throughout her history.
The fishing-focused cockpit includes a fighting chair, baitwell, fish boxes, and a transom door, with twin helm stations on the flybridge and tower providing excellent sightlines. The open layout suits both tournament work and comfortable cruising.
Below decks, the salon opens from the cockpit through a swing door and features wraparound seating, a sofa, and entertainment center. A fully equipped galley forward to port offers Corian countertops, electric glass cooktop, refrigerator/freezer, microwave, dishwasher, and trash compactor. The dinette opposite provides wraparound seating with a varnished wood table.
Three staterooms each have ensuite heads with showers. The interior uses varnished maple cabinetry, teak-and-holly sole, and carpet throughout. A full-boat chilled water air conditioning system maintains climate control.
