1996 Cabo 35 Express

This 1996 Cabo 35 Express is a fiberglass sportfisher powered by twin Caterpillar 3208TA diesel engines rated at 435 horsepower each. With a 13-foot beam and solid Cabo construction, the boat is built for serious offshore fishing while maintaining comfortable accommodations for family cruising.

Recent service work includes comprehensive engine maintenance performed in September 2024, encompassing aftercooler and heat exchanger servicing, new water pumps, antifreeze, zincs and belts, valve adjustment, and gear oil changes. The boat received a new Northern Lights generator in August 2025, fresh bottom paint, serviced running gear, and new air conditioning and heating systems. The Caterpillar engines carry approximately 4,150 hours and include deck hatch access with cockpit deck lifts for full engine room visibility.

The helm features twin 12-inch Garmin GPSMAP XSV displays, Garmin xHD radar, autopilot, VHF radio, and a Fusion MS-RA770 stereo. A Lewmar Pro-Series 700 windlass with controls at helm and bow, trim tabs, and compass complete the navigation suite. An elevated tower carries an additional 8-inch Garmin GPSMAP display, Standard Horizon Explorer VHF, and water temperature gauge, with an ACR searchlight mounted nearby.

The cockpit layout prioritizes fishing efficiency with large in-deck fishboxes and macerators, transom livewell, tuna door, tackle center, 13 rocket launchers, rod holders, bait prep station with sink, and washdown systems for fresh and raw water.
