1996 Canados 23

The Canados 23 is a 75-foot flybridge motor yacht built in 1996 with a fiberglass hull and twin 1,200-hp MAN diesel engines. The yacht cruises at 22 knots and reaches a maximum speed of 28 knots. Power comes from dual 20 kW and 17 kW generators, with a watermaker and comprehensive electrical systems throughout.

The accommodation layout comprises six cabins and five heads. The full-beam master amidships features an ensuite bathroom, separate shower, and port-side walk-in closet. The forward VIP cabin includes a double berth with dedicated bathroom and shower. Two guest cabins in the bow—one to starboard, one to port—each hold twin beds with Pullman options and ensuite facilities. A crew cabin in the bow provides independent access, with an additional cabin in the engine room. All cabins feature individual climate control. The main saloon offers facing sofas, a wet bar, and television. A large dinette seats eight guests. The galley is fitted with induction cooking, conventional oven, microwave, Bosch dishwasher, double stainless sink, refrigerator, freezer, and black granite countertops.

Navigation systems include dual Garmin 12-inch GPS plotter and 32-volt radar, Furuno FAP-330 autopilot, Furuno tridata sounder, and Furuno VHF radio. A Vetus bow thruster, electric windlass, and hydraulic trim tabs assist maneuverability. All systems are duplicated on the flybridge. The yacht carries a 4.2-meter Zodiac tender with 40 hp Yamaha outboard engine, supplied with davits.

Major work over recent years includes 2025 tender replacement, 2023 engine room and generator soundproofing, complete hull and superstructure repainting in 2020 with 15 mm teak deck renewal, plumbing system overhaul and seacock replacement, new stern winches and windlass overhaul, watermaker service, new air conditioning units, and 2019 exhaust system replacement. Engine overhaul occurred in 2007 with approximately 1,000 current hours. The saloon floor and carpeting were recently renovated. Onboard manuals, safety equipment, liferaft, lines, fenders, and accessories are included.
