The 1996 Corsair F-31 is a performance cruising trimaran built on Ian Farrier's folding-trimaran design. Its 31-foot length and 22-foot beam deliver strong sailing performance, especially off the wind, while the folding outrigger beams allow the boat to be hauled on a Pacific tandem axle galvanized trailer for transport and storage. The fiberglass hull is designed for both weekend cruising and day sailing, with versatility to handle casual family outings or club racing events.
The boat features roller-furling genoa and mainsail for easy handling by a small crew from the aft cockpit. The mast is straightforward to rig and raise. Below deck, the cabin offers comfortable cushioned berths for cruising. The original stock configuration remains uncompromised—a practical setup for owners who regularly trailer their boat to different waters.
The F-31 is equipped with a 10 hp Suzuki gasoline engine and has been recently upgraded. The hull presents in very good condition.
