This 1996 Farrier F-25C is a lightweight carbon fiber trimaran built as a factory kit, designed by Ian Farrier for high-performance trailerable sailing. The boat features the signature Farrier folding system, allowing the two outer hulls to fold inward for transport and storage on a trailer. With a 26-foot length and 19-foot beam when deployed, it combines responsive handling and speed with practical trailering capability.
The boat was originally commissioned in 1996 and saw minimal use before being stored indoors for most of its life. In 2024, it underwent a comprehensive refit and upgrade program that included new Awlgrip paint, updated electrical systems, new sails, halyards, running rigging, control lines, trampolines, deck hardware, and clutches. New hatches and a new 6 hp Tohatsu outboard motor were installed, along with an updated trailer.
The F-25C design delivers responsive acceleration and efficient hull performance under sail. The boat's ultralight construction and folding system make it straightforward to launch from a ramp, sail, and then fold and trailer for storage or transport. The recent upgrades address all primary systems and working parts while the minimal use history and consistent indoor storage have preserved the hull and structure throughout its life.
