This 1996 Fountain Fever is a 27-foot performance boat powered by a single 540 cubic inch engine producing over 800 horsepower, professionally built by Boyd's Motor Works and equipped with a Whipple supercharger. The boat reaches speeds in the low 90s and features full hydraulic steering for responsive handling. The drivetrain includes an IMCO extreme upper unit, Mercury 2-inch shorty lower unit, and a five-blade 32-inch prop.
The boat has been maintained with care throughout its life. It was used exclusively on fresh water in Lake George, New York, and kept on a boat lift during summer months and in a heated garage during the off-season. The hull and interior are reported to be clean and well-preserved.
A 2002 tandem-axle trailer by Performance Trailers is included with the boat. A mooring cover is also provided.
