1996 Gozzard Aft Cockpit

This 44-foot Gozzard Aft Cockpit is a fiberglass cruising sailboat built in 1996. The yacht underwent extensive refitting between 2015 and 2018, which included a complete Awlgrip paint job, replacement of the main Yanmar engine, new refrigeration and freezer systems, and several replacement sails. Since the completion of that major refit, the boat has received ongoing maintenance and has seen light use.

The yacht offers three cabins and two heads, providing comfortable accommodation for cruising. The aft cockpit configuration is characteristic of the Gozzard design, offering traditional handling and seakeeping qualities typical of the class.

Recent use has been limited to local waters in the upper Chesapeake region, with freshwater cruising. The combination of the comprehensive refit work and subsequent maintenance establishes a well-maintained platform for extended cruising.
