The 1996 Grady-White Sailfish 272 is a 27-foot fiberglass sportfish boat built for serious offshore work. Twin 2021 Suzuki DF250AP outboard engines, each rated at 250 horsepower, deliver responsive power and speed. The boat features a deep-V hull design engineered for a stable ride in varied sea conditions. With only 86 hours of engine time, the twin Suzuki powerplants are in excellent working order.
The layout centers on a spacious self-bailing cockpit designed for fishing, flanked by wide walkaround side decks. Below deck, a cabin provides a V-berth sleeping area and dinette seating, along with an enclosed head compartment. The boat holds 210 gallons of fuel and 32 gallons of fresh water. Fishing-focused equipment includes fish boxes, a livewell, rod holders, and rocket launchers. A transom door and two swim ladders provide water access.
Recent work includes new batteries, serviced bilge pumps, and updated electrical systems with power steering. The boat has been outfitted with custom stainless steel additions: a bow fence, anchor, and hydraulic flaps. A custom hard top provides shade, while an Isinglass enclosure offers weather protection. Additional systems include a 12,000 BTU air-conditioning unit, water lights, Lewmar electric anchor winch with 70 feet of chain and 300 feet of line, and dual Garmin electronics mounts. A 2019 Continental dual-axle aluminum trailer is included.
