The 1996 Grand Banks 46 Heritage CL is a classic trawler yacht built with a fiberglass hull and powered by twin Caterpillar 3208TA diesel engines producing 435 hp each. The boat features a traditional sedan bridge layout with wide side decks, a spacious flybridge, and a quarter deck equipped with davit and tender storage. A full complement of cruising gear includes stabilizers, bow thruster, water maker, diesel furnace, air conditioning, and an extensive electronics suite with dual radars, GPS plotters, autopilot, and chart plotting systems.
The interior centers on a two-stateroom layout with ensuite heads and a galley positioned between them. Accommodations are finished in handcrafted Burmese teak cabinetry throughout, with thoughtful cabin design and storage. The boat has been freshly varnished on all interior wood surfaces.
Mechanical systems have received recent service work, including turbo and engine servicing. The drivetrain incorporates TwinDisc transmissions with Aqua-Drive anti-vibration units and Micro-Commander electronic controls. Additional onboard equipment includes an ESI fuel polishing system, Flo Scan fuel metering, Webasto diesel heater, Northern Lights generator, and an inverter/charger package. Two tenders are included: a center console Avon with Yamaha outboard and a rowing tender.
