1996 Linssen SC 38

This 1996 Linssen SC 38 is a steel-hulled displacement motor boat built for comfortable long-distance cruising. The yacht features a Volvo Penta 150 hp diesel engine paired with dual hydraulic helm stations—one inside and one outside—for easy handling in various conditions. A bow thruster, electric anchor windlass with 35 metres of chain, and Eberspächer diesel heating round out the core systems.

The interior combines traditional timber joinery with practical accommodation across two cabins offering six berths total. The aft owner's cabin is generously proportioned, and the main saloon is spacious with a convertible dinette that serves as a social hub. A dedicated deck saloon provides excellent sightlines while underway. Additional equipment includes a SAT TV system with two televisions and a bathing platform with folding ladder.

Recent maintenance work completed in 2023 and 2024 includes a new alternator, shaft seal packing replacement, and a new Lowrance Link-9 VHF with antenna. The boat spent most of its operational life on inland waterways before relocating to Greece in 2024. It was originally overhauled by Linssen Werft in 2003/2004 and has been dry-stored ashore since October 2024.
