1996 Luhrs Tournament 290 Open

The 1996 Luhrs Tournament 290 Open is a 29-foot fiberglass sportfisher built for serious fishing and family cruising. Twin Marine Power 350 EFI engines with fresh water cooling provide reliable power, and recent maintenance includes replacement risers and manifolds, new zincs, and annual services. The hull sides have been recently polished and waxed, and bottom paint was completed in June 2026.

The cockpit layout centers on fishing capability with a transom door, swim platform, transom fish box, washdowns, and non-skid decking. A hardtop with full custom enclosures protects the helm area. A tower with full controls and buggy top offers elevated visibility, while the raised center helm features bench seating to port and starboard. High gunnels enhance safety throughout.

The single cabin accommodates four with a fully equipped galley including microwave, stainless steel sink with hot and cold water, and a marine head with shower. Climate control via AC and heat with dehumidifying mode and digital controls maintains comfort, while overhead opening hatches provide fresh air ventilation.

Electronics include a Raymarine Axiom 12-inch touchscreen chartplotter with integrated fish finder and sounder, a new Raymarine autopilot, and a Furuno radar mounted overhead at the helm. The boat requires no deferred maintenance before being ready for use.
