Norfolk Star is a 121-foot aluminum ketch built by Perini Navi in 1996. The yacht is powered by a 550-horsepower Volvo diesel engine and reaches a cruising speed of 11.4 knots. The deck layout features a split cockpit with seating around a circular table on one side and a dining area on the other, both accommodating up to eight people. A large sunbathing area sits aft of the shaded cockpit.
The interior combines two main living spaces. The upper salon features an L-shaped sofa, forward-facing desk, and panoramic views finished in cherry wood with large hull portholes that fill the space with natural light. The main salon below holds two sofas and a formal dining area with an extendable walnut table.
Accommodation consists of three cabins. The full-width master stateroom aft includes a walk-in wardrobe, full-bath en suite, and separate study area. Two twin cabins on the lower deck sleep additional guests, each with its own shower room. An optional pullman berth provides space for one more guest. The yacht is fitted with Samsung LED televisions and a Creston Control AV system. A swimming platform on the starboard side deploys at anchor.
Recent work completed in 2020 included a new main engine, two new generators, PLC system, Inmarsat VSAT dome, Doyle sails, and Reckmann rigging. The interior and exterior furnishings were recovered, all surfaces and marble professionally cleaned and coated, and the teak decks professionally sanded.
