The Princess V52 is a 55-foot cruiser built by Princess Yachts in 1996. Twin MAN 600 diesel engines deliver 1,609 hp and achieve a cruising speed of 20 knots with a maximum speed of 28 knots. The fiberglass hull displaces 18 tons and is fitted with four-bladed bronze propellers and shaft drive. Fuel capacity is 2,000 liters and freshwater capacity is 500 liters.
The accommodation includes four cabins with four bathrooms: two guest cabins, one crew cabin, and a fully equipped galley with oven and three refrigerators. Air conditioning serves all interior spaces, supported by an 8 kVA Onan generator and inverter system. Six batteries and four chargers provide electrical power, while a hot water system and desalination unit are installed.
Navigation and safety equipment comprises GPS, VHF, radar, autopilot, compass, and speed meter. A bow thruster aids maneuvering. Bilge pumps (electric and mechanical) and an electric anchor winch are fitted. Trim tabs and an autopilot system support seamanlike operation.
Comfort and entertainment features include television, radio, and internal and external speakers. The deck is clad in teak and fitted with a hardtop, spray hood, and external leather seating. A hydraulic gangway, outdoor shower, swim ladder, tender, underwater lights, and storage garage complete the package. The engines were rebuilt with approximately 600 operating hours recorded since the rebuild.
