1996 Regulator 26 Classic

The 1996 Regulator 26 Classic is a center console that has undergone a complete mechanical, electrical, and structural rebuild. Twin Mercury 225 four-stroke engines deliver 450 horsepower combined, propelling the boat to 45 knots with a cruising speed of 32 knots. The fiberglass hull measures 26 feet in length with an 8.5-foot beam.

The boat's systems and electronics were comprehensively updated. Navigation includes dual Simrad MFDs—a 12-inch EVO3S and a 12-inch EVO4—paired with a Simrad S5100 sounder and dual Airmar transducers. A Simrad AP44 autopilot with NAC 2 controls handles steering. A night vision camera, Starlink Mini satellite system, dual VHF radios with GPS, and SiriusXM weather mapping round out the bridge. Power distribution comprises dual Hubble outlets for electric reels and six 12-volt accessory outlets. Lighting includes LED spreader and navigation lights, under-gunnel courtesy lights, console lights, and dual Lumitec SeaBlaze Quattro underwater lights.

The fishing setup includes a modified aluminum dash with a modern flat-face design. A T-top with tower and gloss black powder coat finish supports telescoping 15-foot outriggers double-rigged with rocket launchers. Rod storage consists of 23 rod holders distributed across the gunwales and transom, plus tackle drawers beneath the helm seat. A Fusion stereo system with 1600-watt amplifier, subwoofer, and four speakers supplies entertainment. The boat includes twin 176-gallon and 55-gallon fuel tanks, a new auxiliary aluminum fuel tank, and an aluminum bunk trailer.

All wiring was replaced with tinned marine wire and terminated with labeled shrink tubing. Bilge systems include two Rule 2000 pumps with float switches and high-water alarm. The hull received three coats of ceramic applied to topside and hull; the bottom and engine bracket were sanded and painted with two coats of Interlux Micron CSC.
