This 1996 Robalo 2440 Walkaround is a fiberglass sportfishing boat built on a proven design known for stability and solid construction. Twin Yamaha HPDI outboards, each rated at 150 horsepower, deliver a top speed of 40 mph. The 180-gallon fuel tank supports a cruising range of approximately 200 miles, while stainless steel propellers handle saltwater conditions. The boat rides on a 2006 Venture dual-axle trailer.
The walkaround layout centers on a roomy cabin that sleeps two, along with a functional head and shower. On deck, anglers benefit from rod storage for up to 18 rods, dedicated tackle storage, and large port and starboard floor boxes. A 30-gallon baitwell with its own pump supports extended fishing trips.
In fall 2023, significant updates were completed: a Maxwell RC8 windlass, new bilge pump, saltwater washdown system, and an onboard generator. Navigation and communication gear added at that time includes a Garmin Echomap HD Sidescan and VHF radio. The trailer received new tires, brakes, wiring, and lights. Two new batteries were installed, along with new deck plates throughout. The engines show approximately 550 hours of operation.
