Hesper is a pilothouse motorsailer designed by Bill Garden and built by Tillotson-Pearson. The hull, laid up in 1975, is solid fiberglass below the deck joint. The boat remained in indoor storage for two decades before being purchased in 1996 by a pair of shipwrights who completed the build-out, finished the topsides and interior, and launched her that year. She is documented with USCG registration from 1996.
The 32-foot yacht accommodates a single cabin and one head. Her pilothouse provides the commanding position typical of the design, offering shelter and all-around visibility for cruising.
The boat runs a 60-horsepower Westerbeke diesel engine, paired with a new mainsail. She has been maintained by her current owner and is ready for extended cruising.
