Echo is a 75-foot Versilcraft motoryacht built in 1996 with a fiberglass hull and twin MAN D2842 LE406 diesel engines rated at 1,200 horsepower each. The engines drive Arneson surface drives and deliver a cruising speed of 30–32 knots with a maximum speed around 39 knots. Engine hours are reported at 1,550. The yacht draws 3 feet with the drives raised.
The interior accommodates up to eight with a master cabin forward featuring a queen berth and double vanity, three guest cabins with twin berths, four ensuite heads, and a separate crew cabin accessed from the upper deck. The main salon includes dining and lounge seating, while the upper deck offers a three-seat helm station, a U-shaped lounge with table, and additional outdoor seating areas.
Between 2023 and 2025 the yacht underwent substantial refitting while on the hard in the BVI. Work completed includes new teak decking and salon flooring, upper hull repainting, updated navigation electronics, new exterior cushions and vinyl, a new 21kW generator, complete cooling system overhaul, Arneson drive rebuilding, hydraulic system service and hose replacement, new watermaker and ice maker, and fresh battery installations throughout.
Systems include 230V/50Hz AC power with 24V DC; a 21kW generator with 52 hours and a 9kW unit with 851 hours; fuel capacity of 4,200 liters; fresh water capacity of 1,300 liters; grey and black water tankage; windlass with dual controls, bow thruster, hydraulic swim staircase, bimini with side curtains, and mooring gear. A 3-meter inflatable tender with a 4 HP Yamaha outboard is included.
