1996 Wellcraft Excel

This 1996 Wellcraft Excel is a 19-foot bowrider built on a fiberglass hull and powered by a single 200 hp Volvo Penta gasoline engine. The open bow layout and rear sundeck conversion make it versatile for fishing, water sports, and leisurely days on the water with family and friends.

The boat features a full complement of water-sport and comfort equipment including a diving and ski platform, bimini top, fold-down driver and passenger lounge seats, and snap covers. Storage is distributed throughout with in-floor and under-seat compartments. The helm includes a gauge cluster and stereo with Bluetooth, auxiliary input, and color-changing display, along with a depth finder. A depth finder, anchor, fire extinguisher, and flotation devices are included. An enclosed trailer with surge brakes is provided.

Two years ago the engine received significant work: the outdrive, bearing carrier, and gimbal bearing were all replaced. The boat was then lake tested and performed well, with shifting operations and RPM ranges verified as normal. The only noted issue is an intermittent tachometer. The boat has been professionally winterized and stored annually.
