This 1997 Albemarle 265 is a fiberglass sportfish built for serious fishing and cruising. The 26-foot design sits on an 8.5-foot beam and carries a custom-built 540 cubic inch big-block Chevy engine producing 485 horsepower, installed in spring 2025 with only 45 hours of operation. The engine was purpose-built for this boat to achieve 30-knot cruising speed at 1.75 miles per gallon fuel efficiency. The exhaust system is stainless steel throughout, eliminating the need for future manifold or riser replacement.
The hull itself shows approximately 800 hours of total time and requires no structural work. Recent maintenance includes a bottom soda blast, barrier coat, and fresh bottom paint applied before the 2024 season. An eisenglass enclosure was installed in 2020. All fuel lines and fittings were replaced in 2025 with upgraded AN-specification components.
The boat comes with a trailer that was rebuilt in 2025, featuring new axles, wheels, tires, bunks, fenders, and stainless hardware throughout.
