This 1997 Bayliner 3788 Command Bridge is a 37-foot fiberglass cruiser powered by twin Cummins 6BTA 5.9 diesel engines. Most examples of this model came equipped with gas power, making this diesel-powered version uncommon. The port engine is new, and the starboard engine has been professionally rebuilt. The yacht has seen minimal use—less than 100 hours over approximately two years—and comes with a comprehensive list of recent upgrades across systems and accommodations.
The interior layout includes two staterooms and a head. The forward owner's stateroom features a centerline island berth with storage and overhead hatch. The midship guest stateroom offers a large athwartships double berth with a privacy door. The spacious salon features bright windows, a blue leather L-settee with dining table, and a lower helm station. The galley sits open to the salon and includes a new three-burner stove with oven, new refrigerator and freezer, microwave, and double sink. The head has been newly appointed with a toilet, molded vanity, and separate stall shower.
The command bridge is fully enclosed with forward helm positioning and excellent sightlines, guest seating wrapping around the port and aft sides, and a comfortable layout for entertaining. The cockpit features new teak-style synthetic decking and a hardtop with ladder access to the bridge. The rebuilt swim platform also has synthetic teak-style decking. Navigation systems include dual Simrad GO-9 multifunction displays at upper and lower helms, plus an Autohelm autopilot. Ground tackle is new—windlass, 200 feet of chain, 200 feet of rode, and new anchor. Exterior upgrades include stainless rails and wide side decks. A brand-new Chilles dinghy with Mercury 3.3 hp two-stroke outboard is included.
