1997 Bayliner 3988 Command Bridge

The 1997 Bayliner 3988 Command Bridge is a 39-foot fiberglass motor yacht powered by twin Cummins 250 hp diesel engines. Its modified-V hull and 14-foot beam provide stability and smooth handling across varied sea conditions. The yacht features a commanding flybridge with wraparound seating and upper helm station, dual helm positions for flexibility, and a spacious cockpit with self-draining deck and large lazarette storage. An electric anchor windlass, Rosskelley Olsen crane davit on the hardtop, integrated swim platform with fold-out ladder, and hardtop canopy over the cockpit complete the exterior design.

Below deck, the open-concept salon features large windows for natural light and easy flow to the galley and lower helm. A U-shaped galley on the starboard side includes a three-burner electric stove with oven, microwave, AC/DC refrigerator with freezer, and double stainless steel sink. An L-shaped settee converts to an additional berth, and the layout maintains easy access throughout.

Accommodations include an owner's stateroom forward with an island queen berth, private ensuite head with enclosed shower, cedar-lined hanging lockers, and overhead hatch for ventilation. A VIP stateroom offers a full-size double berth with hanging locker and overhead hatch. A second head serves the guest stateroom and salon. All berths include reading lights and storage compartments.

Systems include a Westerbeke 8 kW generator, 2500-watt inverter, 30-amp battery charger with monitor, hot water heater, and Hynautic hydraulic steering with engine alarms. Electronics comprise Raytheon RL9 LCD radar, two Garmin 120 GPS units, Lowrance 3500 depth sounder, VHF radio, and search light. The boat has been in consistent use and maintenance within a charter fleet.
