The 1997 Bayliner 3988 Command Bridge is a 40-foot fiberglass motoryacht designed for comfortable cruising. Twin Cummins 6BTA 5.9 diesel engines each producing 330 hp power the boat, with port engine at 1,139 hours and starboard at 1,154 hours. The modified-V hull with shallow deadrise and prop pockets delivers stability while allowing access to shallower anchorages. The command bridge and canted house windows define her profile, while walk-around side decks, integral swim platform with transom door, and wide cockpit with port and starboard boarding steps create a genuine cruiser layout.

A 12V Muir electric windlass, flybridge bimini, and Bennett trim tabs are aboard. The electrical system includes new batteries, a 2021 Victron charger, 2022 battery isolators, and dual 30-amp shore power inlets.
