This 1997 Bayliner 4788 Pilothouse is a 47-foot diesel cruiser built for extended passages and serious voyaging. Twin Cummins 6BTA-5.9 diesels produce 370 horsepower each, delivering a cruising speed of 18 knots at 35 gallons per hour and a maximum speed of 22 knots. The boat has a raised pilothouse, generous beam of nearly 15 feet, and a fiberglass hull designed for stability and range. Fuel capacity of 444 gallons and a 200-gallon freshwater system support long-distance cruising.

Three private staterooms accommodate six, with berths arranged forward, amidships, and aft. The forward owner's suite features a centreline queen berth and private ensuite with tub and shower. A mid-cabin double and a side cabin with over-under singles provide flexible sleeping arrangements. Two heads serve the accommodation: a forward ensuite and a day head with stall shower. The bright, spacious salon includes an L-shaped settee, dining table for six, and entertainment system with LCD television and multi-zone stereo.

The galley is well-appointed with a Princess three-burner electric cooktop and built-in oven, Whirlpool microwave, and an extra-large single-bowl sink. Additional refrigeration includes dedicated wine and beverage units. Climate control consists of three zones with reverse-cycle air conditioning and supplemental electric heat.

Recent work includes a new Bimini top and hydraulic dinghy lift (2024), updated galley with new sink (2025), Victron lithium house batteries with smart monitoring, all-LED interior conversion with 68 pot lights, new flooring and refinished wood throughout (2018), cream Ultra Leather salon upholstery (2020), and a replaced aluminum waste tank (2019). Navigation and communication equipment includes dual Raymarine chartplotters, 4kW radar, autopilot, dual VHF radios, depth sounder, and wind instrumentation. The boat is equipped with a hydraulic anchor system, dinghy davit with 700-pound lift capacity, and dual-station piloting controls with autopilot capability.
