1997 Carolina Classic 25
About This Yacht
This 1997 Carolina Classic 25 is a center console fishing boat built on the brand's characteristic deep-V hull with a mid-engine jackshaft drive system. Powered by a 7.4L Volvo gasoline engine, the boat features a spacious cockpit designed for serious fishing, with quad rod holders, rocket launchers, and a live well with raw water spray. The cabin includes overnight accommodations with a V-berth and enclosed head.
The electronics suite centers on a Simrad GO7 chartplotter paired with Simrad autopilot (upgraded to NAC-2 in 2025) and Simrad remote control added in 2025. A Lowrance Elite 9 provides additional sonar capability. The cockpit is protected by a full foul-weather enclosure, and a gimbal mount cradle with two tubes accommodates additional fishing gear. A Sony audio system with Bluetooth is installed.
The engine has accumulated 650 hours, with the drive shaft rebuilt in 2021. Dual fuel tanks carry 82 gallons each. The hull was professionally waxed in April 2026. The boat is equipped with a dual-axle trailer.
