This 30-foot cold-molded racing sloop was designed and built by renowned naval architect John Guzzwell. The boat has a documented racing history, having competed in the Singlehanded TransPacific Yacht Race, the Swiftsure Race, and the VanIsle 360, and was featured in Wooden Boat magazine. The hull construction uses cold-molded wood for durability and strength, with a beam of 8.5 feet.
Power comes from a 16 hp Beta 2-cylinder diesel inboard engine with 120 hours of operation. The mast, boom, and bowsprit are reinforced with carbon fiber splines. All running rigging was replaced in 2021, and the boat carries three new Ullman sails: mainsail, masthead jib, and fractional asymmetrical spinnaker.
Navigation and onboard systems include GPS, a depth sounder, and a chart plotter. Solar panels and a battery charger are installed. A full modular boat cover is included for protecting the cabin and deck.
